GOTTA DANCE!!

Saturday, June 10, 2006 at 6:30pm-12 am

Yet another swing dancing! Hopefully more people will come this time (for once, more girls, please!!!)!

This time around we're going to spice it up a bit and go to GLEN ECHO! From 8-9 you learn how to swing (more indepth than at Chevy Chase because there's more time) and then you get to dance from 9-12 in the gorgeous Spanish Ballroom. The initial cost is $20, but I'll try to get us a discount if we get a lot of people coming!

Dinner will most likely be at my house and then we'll drive over...should work out, but not exactly sure yet...tell me if you can/are willing to drive people juuust in case (just write it on the wall or something). And afterwards you can either be picked up from there or you can go back to my house to be picked up and if you want to stay over, you can. There are no metro stops close by, so...we'll be doing some more driving!

So, again, Guys, pull out the fedoras, and Dolls, pull out the swing skirts because you gotta jump, jive, then you wail away...

Call/IM/e-mail/facebook message me if you can come!

I'm starting to hate needles...

Got discharged from the hospital again yesterday and went home to collapse from exhaustion and take advantage of my IV-freedom. Went back this morning to swallow a pill that is actually a camera and now I'm wearing a massive belt that is being sent pictures of my digestive tract to the belt to then be viewed later to see if I have yet another ulcer...I'll be happy when they stop having to draw blood from me, but that won't be for a while...And I've missed too many classes for my liking...

Ah well...

Demain...

So,tomorrow...I'm coming to SR around 10 to first talk about Georgetown (oh, how I miss it so...) and then visit with Laura, followed by lunch in friendship heights...so make sure to say hi to us!

What have I done with my spring break so far? Saw Drood (yay!!), ate a lot of food, saw the end of Drood (again!), bought clothing and yarn, getting pants tailored...Tomorrow-visiting SR and getting guitar adjusted and buying stuff at the guitar store...then homework (wait...there is such a thing?) and then something with Kathy and Laura, probably, this weekend...if you want to do something-call the cell...I don't have much to do!

Knitting a scarf for Liz Yogi...

Applied to work at my dad's job-we'll see how that turns out...

I can't wait to see my friends again-I have three very close friends and they're like my brothers so it's like being home sick when they aren't around. I'm going to bake a pie sunday to celebrate Pi day early...

I'm ahead of my mom in her sudoku book...I left mine at school...

Finished Dorian Gray, now trying to decide if I want to read a fiction, nonfiction, or an extreme fantasy book...any thoughts?
